I was really hoping to have my website relaunched in time for this exciting new pillow collection that I have co-curated with Tina Marie from The Enchanted Home. If you have not heard of her yet, you are in for a treat. Tina has exquisite taste and is one of the best and most entertaining design and lifestyle bloggers out there.  Check out http://enchantedhome.com/

Here are some of the pillows included in the collection:

So, if you want to check out THE ENCHANTED HOME collection, please go to my ETSY STORE: https://www.etsy.com/shop/studiotullia

I was hoping to relaunch my website where you may also shop for THE EXTRAORDINARY, but there are some kinks and additions we are still working out.

This palette is the feel of the collection in a nut shell.  Blue and white, of course, elegant Asian toile and chinoiserie in linen and cotton chintz, along with ribbon pillows and some stunning velvets and chenilles. I will have more pics for you in a few days. I included a few different palette pics…the last two are from my iphone and not as clear, but have the camelias…

You may use COUPON CODE: EHFREESHIP to get free shipping on your purchase at the Etsy store or my own, very soon.

Tina has used many pillows from STUDIO TULLIA in her incredible home over the past few years. The Ribbon fretwork and Chiang Mai in China Blue pillows were featured in her recent basement remodel, which is incredibly comfortable and elegant, while showing off quite a collection of porcelain Mingware.

A few pictures of her recent basement remodel. Now this is a WOMAN CAVE if I’ve ever seen one.

I wanted to share the work of Christopher Nutter, an interior designer in Washington, D.C. who recently showcased his work at the DC Designer Showcase. He designed and installed a room in the upper gallery leading into a guest bedroom of the 8,869-square-foot mansion. He along with 23 other design firms took up the challenge to transform this house that was built to suggest a “modern farmhouse” feel.  The theme Christopher ran with was butterflies, flowers and animals along with a powerful use of dazzling blue and white. What’s not to love?  I thought it was magical and loved the attention to detail in every inch of the room.

As stated in an article (see link below) by Michelle Goldchain; “Christopher Nutter’s intention for the upper gallery was to create a light, airy, and whimsical space where the walls were the art. The butterflies, flowers, and animals were hand-painted by artist Gary Goldberg. Nutter said he was inspired by Bunny Mellon and Virginia-based artist Bunny Williams, which caused him to add topiaries, a mirror from Williams’ collection, and a painting by Hunt Slonem, titled, “Untitled Bunnies.”

What do you think?

STUDIO TULLIA provided the lumbar pillows in the two chairs flanking the incredible ribbon embellished table cloth. The fabric is a Schumacher fabric, Adras Ikat in Sky by Martyn Lawrence Bullard.  The lamps, light fixture, chairs, curtains, mirror, accessories are all so carefully chosen and lovely. The room sparkles.

The long velvet bolster was a gorgeous blue Kravet velvet further embellished with a Greek Key pattern made of grosgrain ribbon on each end.  I was afraid the bolster, also by STUDIO TULLIA, was going to be too big.  Thank goodness we didn’t make it any smaller.

I’ve been meaning to share some work from this charismatic and talented woman since June. With the kids out of school for Summer life and work is a spiraling tug of war.

Always looking for inspiring talent, surprisingly, it sometimes finds me (or STUDIO TULLIA, that is). Tiffany purchased some pillows from me and I was thrilled to see them show up in one of her project reveals. I love to see “after” photos – one of the most rewarding things about my work.

So here are some pictures of a lovely living and dining room a la Tiffany Brooks. What really blows me away is that she is the artist who also did the art work, which seems to pull everything together.

Look at the lovely layering of textures and patterns.

Interesting vignette of the dining room. She managed to make these vintage chairs work with the finish treatment and bold color choices. So much personality in this room.

Tina Marie, designer and blogger for THE ENCHANTED HOME, discovered STUDIO TULLIA in the process of searching for decorative pillows for her veranda/loggia at her fabulous manse in New York.

I was lucky enough to be one of two final contenders in her pillow search on ETSY where my pillows will now live: in the Home of Enchantment.

This is her lovely blue and white design board of ETSY pillows she found:

Some of the final choices from STUDIO TULLIA were:
Ribbon Fretwork Pillow

Chiang Mai China Blue by Schumacher

And a lovely IKAT pillow from MOTIF PILLOWS by Priscilla Elizabeth out of Charleston, SC on ETSY. What a great combination!

She later shared with her readers the arrival and display of pillows in her loggia and outer terrace:

You can see that she also has a lovely collection of porcelains with a concentration on blue and whites. They could not be a better match with Schumacher’s Chiang Mai Dragon!

You have to read this post which not only has many, many pictures of my Chiang Mai Pillows in situ at her FABULOUS home but will also introduce you to the extremely entertaining world of Tina Marie. She shares on a daily basis a very social and active life, steeling iphone pics in her daily forays to shop and visit friends. If anyone can handle the years long construction and interior decoration of this French Chateau Style Home set against the lovely rolling hills of New York, Tina can.

She also has an online shop featuring lovely European lighting, tableware and accessories. I am particularly enamored of the etched bell jar lanterns and seriously contemplating a couple of these for our home:
